FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Hello Friends!
As spring arrives and brings with it signs of renewal after the brutal New England winter, all of us at Hartford Rescue Mission are moved by God’s faithfulness to our mission and work.
We are also excited by a new chapter beginning this month for us. Hartford Rescue Mission is moving our operations to our new home at 710 Windsor Street in Hartford’s Clay Arsenal neighborhood. The spacious location with its lease-to-own option will give us plenty of room to continue feeding adults and children in need, and to expand over time to provide a transitional living program, recovery counseling, and other services to help individuals and families get back on their feet and thrive as productive citizens through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Be assured this is a major undertaking and we will need an army of volunteers
and donors to help get us there. Will you spread the word about our need for skilled work crews, generous donations of building materials and monetary gifts, and individuals who can help paint and decorate to give our new home a welcoming feel for our deserving guests?
