Hartford Rescue Mission serves hot, nutritious dinner meals from 5:00-6:00 p.m., weeknights (Monday-Friday) in the Pentecost Deliverance Christian Ministries Dining Room at 41 Mather Street, Hartford. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time in order to participate in the devotional led by Rev. Gregg Woods, Executive Director of Hartford Rescue Mission. Staff are also available to provide guidance on issues, such as temporary shelter, housing, job search, addiction recovery and counseling.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve the evening meal from 3:00-7:00 p.m. (assist during part or all of that time). Also, donations of food and supplies (plates, utensils, etc.) are welcomed and appreciated. To donate or volunteer, please call Rev. Gregg Woods, Executive Director, at (860) 241-0989.
